Knowledge Transfer

Exchanging scientific knowledge, education and communication are core tasks and competencies of an integrated research museum. Our knowledge transfer theme studies how our processes, our results and other achievements can be applied in other relevant disciplines and sectors such as education, economics or culture. Such a 360 degree view of one’s science is not part of the design or delivery of a ‘normal’ research project. That is why we are developing an overview over the scope and utility of our museum’s work, with the aim to develop processes for more effective knowledge transfer. Potentially, many aspects of our work will then be proactively connected to other science, but also to society, education, culture, economy and politics.
Our knowledge transfer theme is developing suitable methods, processes and formats, in order to make the museum’s work more sustainable, visible, usable, and relevant.
