We are making plans!
After more than six years of building activity, the restoration of parts of the top floors will soon be completed according to conservation guidelines. It contains large galleries that will be open to the public to house exhibitions and collections. These will allow new insights into our scientific research and enable us to share our passion for nature with visitors.
Already the process towards these new concepts shall be as open as possible. Our planning office will be abuzz with new ideas and plans for the new premises. Museum staff, interior designers, scientists and taxidermists will work together in interdisciplinary teams to develop novel ideas, unusual concepts and sophisticated installations. The public will also be invited to take part in the planning process in various forms. We want to experiment with ideas that make our work behind the scenes more visible to the outsider.
