Research Report and Annual Report
Since 2016, the Research Report has provided a detailed insight into our research areas and the most exciting and significant research projects of the past two years. It is complemented by the annual Annual Report, which provides an easily understandable overview of the activities of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin over the past year.

Journal for Nature
Together with Humboldt University of Berlin and other partners, we are developing a science campus for nature and society in the heart of Berlin over the next ten years. To allow you to participate in its design, we publish the Journal for Nature twice a year in the Tagesspiegel.
Scientific publications
The Museum publishes three scientific journals: Fossil Record, Zoosystematics and Evolution, and Deutsche Entomologische Zeitschrift. All three journals are available online and via open access through their respective publishers.
You can find the scientific publications of individual staff members on the relevant staff pages.
Federal-State Key Issues Paper on the Leibniz Association’s Research Museums
In a key issues paper, the federal and state governments define objectives and guidelines for the further development of the Leibniz research museums up to 2030. The paper is intended as a follow-up to the federal-state key issues paper of June 2012. A corresponding ‘Strategy Paper of the Leibniz Research Museums’ (‘Agenda 2030’) sets out the objectives in concrete terms from the perspective of the eight institutions. Here you can find out about the tasks and joint strategy of the Leibniz Research Museums (Federal-State Key Issues Paper with Agenda 2030, Oct. 2021)
