17 May is International Museum Day once again.
Once again this year, the Natural History Museum is taking part and will be opening its doors to all visitors from 10 am to 6 pm with free admission.
International Museum Day is an opportunity for museums worldwide to highlight their role in society. As a key vehicle for cultural exchange, museums not only take responsibility for our cultural heritage but also promote understanding, tolerance and diversity across the globe. With their innovative educational programmes and diverse collections, they are unique places of learning that provide a space for social discourse and open up new perspectives for the future. Further information and the full programme for all participating museums can be found at: International Museum Day – German Museum Association
