How will AI change the future of medicine?

Artificial intelligence is no longer the stuff of science fiction; it is revolutionising our healthcare system. In this talk, we will explain in accessible terms how AI is taking medical imaging to a whole new level – for example, by detecting the tiniest anomalies in X-ray or MRI images with greater precision than ever before. It also holds enormous potential for prevention: what if algorithms could predict diseases before they even break out? Alongside these opportunities for personalised therapies, we will highlight the limits of the technology and the ethical questions we need to address. Find out what this means for your health.
