The CollabFund transforms the ideas and energy generated by the TheMuseumsLab Fellowship into visible, accessible outcomes with a broad impact. With funding of €5,000 to €30,000 per project, it supports innovative, sustainable and transcontinental collaborations between museum professionals from Africa and Europe.
Whether reconnecting with fellow fellows, collaborating with residency museums or building new partnerships across continents – the CollabFund is an opportunity to shape the future of museums through practical, impactful collaboration.
Currently CollabFund supports 13 projects with 45 partner institutions from Africa and Europe.
The initiative TheMuseumsLab CollabFund is funded by the Kulturstiftung des Bundes (German Federal Cultural Foundation).
