The interface between infrastructure and usage

Overview

The Services Department acts as the central interface between the infrastructure and its users. It develops and coordinates collection- and research-oriented services that link academia, the collections and the public. The aim is to improve the efficiency of handling enquiries, pool resources and provide a range of services tailored to users’ needs. 

Services for research, collections and the public

Services include exhibition-related interlibrary loans, collection-related logistics and on-demand digitisation. Furthermore, the Services Department coordinates library services, publication and data management, training and advisory services, as well as contacts with external partners and industry.
