As a collection assistant in the field of logistics, I support the museum's many subcollections during the preparation phase, transportation follow-up of their moves. Additionally, as the Deputy Women's Representative, I provide help to our staff members.
Vita
Following my bachelor's degree in English studies and Philosophy at the TU Dresden, I continued my studies at the University of Postdam's master's course "Anglophone Modernities in Literature and Culture". There, I first began working in the Museum's Archive as an intern and later as a research assistant. In spring of 2023, I assumed the position of scan operator at the amber collection of the paleontological department. I continued to develop my expertise by joining the project "Drei-dimensionale Digitalisierung von Insektensammlungen - Allseitige Bildgebung und photogrammetrische Oberflächenrekonstruktion" as scan operator for the prototype of the DISC3D scanner. There, I took photographs and constructed high-quality 3D models of Carabus type specimens and arachnids. Now, I am proud to support the museum's many sub-collections in their challenging tasks to prepare for internal and external moves, as well as help during and after transportation of our invaluable objects.
