Researching how scientists can contribute to a sustainable future through analysis, science communication and an improved science politics (rather than science policy) interface. What are the social, political, and psychological factors driving or hindering sustainability? How are current crises, especially including climate and biodiversity, related and what are common causes for them? What solutions can we find for the current and upcoming crises that are best described as a polycrisis?
