  • General Directorate

As an art historian and project manager, I am part of the overall project management of the future plan. I work on central planning interfaces and support the projects, particularly with regard to the protection of cultural assets and monuments.

Vita

I work as an art historian in a scientific and museum environment at the interface of collection, architecture and institutional development processes. In my work, I combine art and building history research with coordinating and conceptual tasks, especially in the areas of cultural property, monument and heritage protection. A central focus is on the structured analysis of historical museum holdings and spaces as well as on the development of reliable foundations for planning and decision-making processes in phases of change. My academic focus is on 19th century museum architecture as well as image and object research. My doctorate deals with the construction and exhibition history of the Natural History Museum. As part of my work at the Natural History Museum, I worked intensively on historical furnishings and monument-relevant furniture and developed a furniture archive. I am also involved in collection and monument-related projects, including in the context of institutional planning and renovation projects.
