As a historian of science, I specialize in the history of museums and collections, particularly in colonial contexts. As part of the DZK-funded project “Entangled Histories – Colonial Collections from Togo and Ghana in Berlin Museums,” and in collaboration with colleagues from several institutions, I research the provenance of zoological, botanical, and ethnological collections.
