(Sie/Ihr)
Junior Group Leader
- I lead the MultiplEye Lab, which is supported by the DFG Emmy Noether Programme. - I coordinate several research projects studying the function, evolution, and development of animal visual systems. Our main focus is the diversity of visual system architectures (e.g. number, types, and distribution of eyes). - Additional interests include the evolutionary loss and gain of eyes, the impacts of light pollution on visual ecology, and the development of new imaging and analytical techniques for application to museum specimens.
