The role of the Facility Management Department at the Museum of Natural History (SE-FM) encompasses the comprehensive management of buildings, facilities, and laboratory equipment to ensure their functionality. This includes preventive maintenance, investment planning, and ensuring fire safety, security systems, and access control. To fulfill our operator responsibilities—which encompass legal and safety-related obligations—a key part of our team’s work involves, among other things, contracting with and managing numerous specialized companies, such as those responsible for the maintenance of technical systems and various other maintenance tasks.
