I head the Department of Evolutionary Diversity Dynamics at the MfN, serve as co-director of the “Dynamics of Nature” research division, and am a professor of evolutionary ethology at HU Berlin. My laboratory focuses on behavioral ecology, animal communication, and cognition in bats.
