I am responsible for publication management including systematic documentation and reporting on publication volume. I also act as a coordination and advisory point for academic publishing with a particular focus on open access. In this context, I am responsible for managing and monitoring the open access fund as well as monitoring the museum's affiliation and open access guidelines. Another central area of ​​responsibility is the coordination of the in-house journals German Entomological Journal, Fossil Record and Zoosystematics and Evolution. I also supervise the DFG-funded project “Open Access Publishing Costs / 2026–2028” at the Museum für Naturkunde – Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Research.
