Stephan Junker

I have been managing the affairs of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin since September 2011.

Vita

Stephan Junker is a lawyer and science manager. From 2020 to 2024, he also held the post of Vice-President of the Leibniz Association. Prior to this, he was involved there, amongst other things, as a member of the Statutes Commission and in the Leibniz project group ‘Standards for the Appointment of Administrative Management Positions’.

Before joining the museum, Stephan Junker was Deputy Managing Director of the Forschungsverbund Berlin e. V. There, he had previously headed the third-party funding and human resources departments for several years.
