Staff Council
Representing interests and helping to shape working conditions

The Staff Council represents the interests of employees at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin in accordance with the Berlin Staff Representation Act. It brings staff perspectives to bear on key decisions and plays a part in shaping working conditions.

Its tasks include, amongst other things, involvement in personnel matters, supporting change processes, and providing assistance with questions or conflicts arising in day-to-day work. The Staff Council works closely with other bodies such as the Women’s Representative Committee and the Representative Committee for People with Severe Disabilities.
