Ich bin Evolutionsbiologin und untersuche, wie Umweltveränderungen die Evolution von Säugetieren über makroevolutionäre Zeiträume hinweg beeinflussen. Meine Forschung verbindet Skelettmorphologie, Diversifizierungsdynamik und ökologische Spezialisierung unter Verwendung geometrischer Morphometrie und phylogenetischer Vergleichsmethoden, die sowohl auf fossile als auch auf existierende Taxa angewendet werden. Durch die Kombination morphologischer und evolutionärer Perspektiven möchte ich verstehen, wie Säugetiere im Laufe der Zeit auf sich verändernde Umweltbedingungen reagieren.
