The Museum für Naturkunde Berlin congratulates Dr. Natalia Artemieva on receiving this year's Humboldt Research Award from the Humboldt Foundation for excellent scientific work in meteorite and impact research.
Dr. Artemieva's leading-edge research contributes to the understanding of environmental consequences and cratering resulting from asteroid impacts that influence the evolution of Earth and the planetary system through numerical modeling.
Her exceptional collaborative efforts are a landmark for international collaboration and are supported and encouraged at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin by the head of the Dynamics of Nature Research Department, Prof. Dr. Kai Wünnemann.
