Donation of a Trilobite collection

Schenkung einer Trilobitensammlung

In summer 2019, the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin donated the collection of its former palaeontological head preparator Hans-Hartmut Krueger.
The collection, which is housed in 17 collection cupboards, consists mainly of trilobites from the North German glacial bedload as well as from Scandinavia and the Baltic States and contains originals from over 40 Krueger publications.
The trilobites often impress with their masterly preparation.

The collection of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin is the core infrastructure and basis of research. Infrastructure, research and transfer form a synergetic unit.
