Discover the fascinating world of water!

We invite you to join us as part of the City Nature Challenge 2024 to examine the water of the Spree and collect data for science together. We will provide microscopes and stereo magnifying glasses for you to examine the water samples. Immerse yourself in the world of tiny creatures and microorganisms that live in our river. Afterwards, discover as many creatures as possible on your further journey along the Spree.

This event is not a classic guided nature tour. We will be standing on the Eierhäuschen forecourt with our equipment. The aim is to observe and report various animals, plants and fungi as part of the City Nature Challenge. The organizers will not primarily talk about nature, but will of course be happy to explain and support you in identifying and uploading your sightings.
