The International Museum Day will take place for the 44th time in 2021. The aim of the day of action is to draw attention to the thematic diversity of the more than 6,500 museums in Germany and museums worldwide.

The theme of this day of action is "Species Conservation and Biodiversity". Take part in one of our digital guided tours.

Our program

  • 9:00 - 10:00: Conservation of species and biodiversity - live digital tour (Parima Parsi-Pour, in german)
  • 11:00 - 12:00: Researching and collecting at the Museum of Natural History - live digital tour of the exhibitions and walk-in research collection (Tom Werner, in german)

There is a limited number of participants for the tours. Registration is required at besucherservice@mfn.berlin. Guides tours in German.

The digital tours take place via Zoom, a link will be sent to you after confirmed registration.
