Dr. Ferdinand Damaschun

    I am particularly interested in questions related to science communication and the history of science. On the one hand my aim is to analyze and professionalize the communication and networking between visitor to museums and on the other hand to understand scientific thinking and practice as historical phenomena.

    • 2009-2011: Head of the working group for “Design for All” (Barrierefreiheit) established by the „Landesverband der Museen zu Berlin “ (Berlin Museums Association) and by Berlin’s state government
    • 2009-2010: Head of the scientific team for the exhibition „Klasse, Ordnung, Art. 200 Jahre Museum für Naturkunde“ at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin (starting September 2010)
