    Betreute Sammlungen

    Die Kustodie "Vermes" umfaßt ein Sammelsurium wirbelloser, wurmförmiger Tiere, die zumeist nicht näher miteinander verwandt sind: Plathelminthes = Plattwürmer, Gnathostomulida = Kiefermündchen, Nemertini = Schnurwürmer, Rotatoria = Rädertierchen, Acanthocephala = Kratzer, Gastrotricha = Flaschentierchen, Bauchhärlinge, Nematoda = Fadenwürmer, Nematomorpha = Saitenwürmer, Kinorhyncha = Igelnackentiere, Priapulida = Priapswürmer, Loricifera = Korsett-Tierchen, Sipuncula = Spritzwürmer, Echiura = Igelwürmer, Pogonophora = Bartwürmer, Annelida = Ringelwürmer, Chaetognatha = Pfeilwürmer. Die schätzungsweise 100.000 Präparate sind unter ca. 30.000 Katalognummern verzeichnet und enthalten Typenmaterial von etwa 2.140 Arten. Das Typenmaterial ist recherchierbar in der Datenbank SeSam.

    • Verwandtschaftsbeziehungen innerhalb der Nemathelminthes (= Schlauchwürmer) und Beziehungen der Nemathelminthes zu anderen Wirbellosen
    • Taxonomie, Zoogeographie und Evolution der Kinorhyncha (= Igelnacken-Tiere)

    • Biologische Untersuchungen ausgewählter Schlüsseltiergruppen bei der Tiefsee-Expedition SO 208 mit FS "Sonne" im äquatorialen Ostpazifik
    • Aufbau und öffentliche Kommunikation eines wissenschafts-basierten Sammlungs-Managements für naturkundliche Nasssammlungen im Rahmen des "KUR – Programmes zur Konservierung und Restaurierung von mobilem Kulturgut"
