PhD student Fernando Blanco developed a digital quiz on his field of research, palaeoecology, with the App Kahoot! The visitors play the game on the screens and tablets in the experimental field. Fernando Blanco accompanies the quiz participants and talks to them about the quiz' contents. On the one hand, the project provides an insight into questions that visitors find exciting. At the same time, the quiz enables young visitors to become aware of the relationship between living beings and their environment in a playful way. Fernando Blanco finds it interesting to learn from the visitors what they actually know about ecosystems. He wants to use this knowledge to communicate his research more intellegibly for a broader audience.
