[bio'nd] (bio)economy - Finissage

bis

In the course of the Science Year on "bio-economy", we held seven different events throughout the year to discuss sustainable, biobased economic and living systems and to explore the question of what future we want to live in.

You have incorporated your perspectives into the sometimes serious technological and social issues of the bio-economy: Will bioplastics solve the plastics problem? Will we in future dress ourselves with textiles that are produced biotechnologically? Will we in future eat meat substitutes produced in bioreactors? Can the bio-economy ultimately be a sustainable form of future economic activity and who bears the responsibility for change?

At the end of the project we want to give an outlook, present the knowledge gained and the future developments and discuss with experts how a sustainable bio-economy can be successful. You are cordially invited to actively participate in the discussion.

This event is part of the [bio'nd] project on the occasion of the Science Year 2020|21 for bioeconomy, which is being realized at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin in cooperation with the IZT - Institute for Futures Studies and Technology Assessment and Ellery Studio.
