Monday: closed
Tuesday – Friday: 9:30 – 18:00 hrs
Saturday / Sunday / public holidays: 10:00 – 18:00 hrs

Last entry:
30 minutes before closing

The ticket counters close tuesday till friday at 17:00 hrs, on weekends and public holidays at 17:30 hrs.

  • Easter
  • Ascension Day and Pentecost
  • German Unity Day: 3rd October
  • Christmas: 26th December

Closing Days

  • Christmas: 24th and 25th December
  • New Year's Eve: 31th December

During special exhibitions the admission can vary. Paying by cash card is possible.

 

Online-Tickets

You can buy online tickets for visiting our exhibitions. Supported by Visit Berlin.

Please note, that we only have a limited number of online tickets, but you can buy further tickets at our box office. Furthermore, group and family tickets cannot be booked online, yet. Please buy your tickets at the ticket office or contact the Visit Berlin Service Center per telephone: +49 30 25002333. You can order and pay your ticket directly and will receive the printout via e-mail. For the entrance, the online ticket is required on the smartphone or as a printout.

Reduced entry

Eligible for reduced entrance are:

  • children of a max. age of 15,
  • pupils from the age of 16 with official school card,
  • students,
  • apprentices,
  • pensioners,
  • welfare recipients,
  • unemployed people,
  • attendees of voluntary services,
  • people with disabilities (GdP 50) with official certificate

Please note, that you may be asked for prooving documentation at the entrance.

Furthermore, we offer discounts in various ticket cooperations. Please show your voucher, card or coupon at the ticket counter:

  • Berlin Welcome Card
  • Museum Pass
  • Cooperation with the German Museum of Technology: On presentation of a ticket from the German Museum of Technology, we will grant free entrance for an accompanying person, i.e. one visitor buys a full-price ticket, the second will be free of charge. The offer is not valid for our group or family rates, as they are already reduced, and cannot be combined with further discounts.
