On 19 June 2021, the state of Berlin will once again honour the tireless commitment of numerous Berliners who volunteer in their free time with the "Berlin Says Thank You" day of action. Many cultural and recreational institutions - including the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin - invite visitors free of charge to thank them for their valuable work on Sunday, 19 June.

In the past months of the pandemic, many volunteers not only helped, but also gave people hope. For this reason, it is particularly important to the Berlin Senate and the Berlin House of Representatives not only to continue the tried and tested tradition of the "Berlin Says Thank You!" campaign day, but also to pay special tribute this year to the voluntary commitment of Berliners in the field of Corona aid.

Berliners who present proof of their voluntary work can book a free ticket for the action day via the museum's online ticket shop. The proof of voluntary work or other appropriate proof must be presented at the entrance together with the free online ticket and the registration of the data for the infection control contact tracing. A separate registration is not necessary.
