Press release,

Due to the current infection control regulation to contain the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the museum remains closed until further notice. Furthermore, there will be no educational programs such as guided tours during this period. However, with podcast, children's podcast and numerous other digital offerings, the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin with its exhibition, research and collection will remain in the hearts and living rooms of Berliners.

This is a responsible contribution to health and safety. Online tickets that have already been purchased can be rebooked by mail from the ticket provider VisitBerlin, stating the booking number. Tours and other educational programs will be cancelled. Our visitor service can be contacted by mail or by phone at 030 889140 8550.

But even in these challenging times, the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin is coming into the home living room and children's room with numerous digital offers. In the podcast Beats & Bones scientists talk about everything from the realm of nature–- from bees to frogs. The new children's podcast Süßes oder Saurier brings the whole range of nature into the children's room. More nature and more science is not possible.

In Guided Tours, the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin invites you on a digital journey of discovery. The online tours highlight individual areas of the exhibition and tell exciting stories about the 30 million objects in the research collection - from macaws to dinosaurs. On Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, interested parties can also take a look behind the scenes of the exhibition, collection and research.

An overview of the digital offerings including social media channels can be found here: #fürNatur digital. Current information can also be found on the website.
