Elementary school children's understanding of evolution - Validity of evaluation instruments.
EuroScitizen is an EU-funded COST Action that arose from the Evoke initiative and aims to identify strategies to raise the level of science education related to evolution in Europe. As part of a Europe-wide study of working group 2 "formal education", in the project " Elementary school students’ evolution understanding evaluation." we would like to jointly investigate what elementary school children can learn about evolution, what their biggest challenges are and how we can best support their learning on this topic. To do this, we are using evaluation tools that we are currently translating into different languages and plan to use and validate in different countries in the coming months.
