We invite you to join us as part of the City Nature Challenge 2024 to discover animals and plants in Grunewald and on the grounds of the Ökowerk nature conservation center and collect data for science together.

The City Nature Challenge has been taking place worldwide since 2016. In this friendly competition, cities compete against each other to record as many plant and animal species as possible in urban areas in the spirit of citizen science.

We invite all interested parties to join us in observing various animal, plant and fungal species and recording them in the iNaturalist app. We provide nets, binoculars and magnifying glasses with which, for example, water scorpions, snails and frogs can be examined. We will support you in uploading and identifying your observations. A mobile device for documenting observations is essential for participation in the event. Please download the iNaturalist app in advance.

Come and join us!
