Forage and Feast with Jasmine Parsley

Foraged Foods Pollinator Pathmaker
bis

What’s the flavour of city nature? Within the context of Pollinator Pathmaker’s educational programme we invite you to join artist and urban forager Jasmine Parsley for an exploration of urban space through taste.

On a walking tour along the Panke river, Parsley teaches us to identify and collect edible plants and “weeds” growing around the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. The workshop will culminate in an outdoor feast held at the Pollinator Pathmaker LAS Edition by Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg.

As new relationships with spontaneous vegetation are forged, the format brings an novel awareness to landscape and the practice of eating and preparing food. In this workshop we identify, collect, cook and eat together to learn the local flavors of Berlin, becoming co-creators of food instead of consumers.
