Press release,

Over the past decade the student laboratory network GenaU ( "Together for scientific and technical instruction") has been an important player in the non-formal education landscape of Berlin and Brandenburg. During this time more than 350,000 students have conducted their own experiments in student laboratories housed at scientific institutions across Berlin and Brandenburg. Together the network members have developed the successful project "Experiment with Heart", providing career guidance based on a cooperation between student laboratories and industry.

On 11th April representatives from student laboratories, politicians, industry, and education will meet at a ceremony to be held at Berlin's Museum of Natural History, where the Carl Zeiss Microscopy Centre, one of the founding members of the GenaU network, is located.

Journalists are invited to attend the ceremony on 11.04.2016 from 17:00 - 20:00. The network coordinator and the student laboratory leadership will be available at this time for interviews.

We request that people interested in attending should register in advance at the email: GenaU10Jahre@genau-bb.de
