Kinderfest im Museum für Naturkunde
Press release,

At the joint children's party of the Berliner Sparkasse and the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, children could spend a day discovering dinosaurs, the solar system and fascinating animals. With free admission, more than 10,000 visitors flocked to the museum to enjoy a wonderful holiday.

"Free access to knowledge is important for our democracy, for our society and for nature. Amazement, touching and asking questions are the beginning of every spirit of discovery," says General Director Johannes Vogel. "With Berliner Sparkasse, we are happy to have a cooperation partner with whom we can jointly make such days possible".

Throughout the entire exhibition, numerous participatory activities lured visitors: whether dinosaur quizzes, reading corners or stands where fossils were examined.

The children's festival will take place again in the autumn holidays of 2020.

About the cooperation

This year, Berliner Sparkasse and the Museum of Natural History started a joint cooperation under the motto "Knowledge creates insight". The common goal is to give broad sections of the population a clear view of scientific and economic topics. More detailed information on the cooperation can be found here.
